Gaming on the go has become a common component of modern society. People of all backgrounds and ages can commonly be spotted enjoying a game on their cell phone, iPod, or handheld gaming console. More and more people continue to flock to the fun and excitement that can be experienced with these devices and this has raised some questions regarding the best gaming gadget to purchase. Can you combine the practical features of a Smart Phone like the Samsung Infuse with stellar entertainment qualities, or should you leave your gaming activities to purely leisure-geared devices such as an iPod or a Nintendo 3DS?

Previously, it was almost always recommended that consumers purchase separate devices for separate tasks. Even though cell phones could run basic games, they were nowhere near being able to compete with gaming consoles. A cell phone might have featured an extremely basic arcade game from the 1970s, while a Nintendo gaming device would be able to handle highly complex games with state-of-the-art graphics and long, detailed story lines. However, this is no longer the case. A smart phones nowadays is able to handle almost all gaming capabilities and features thrown at it. A smart phones was basically created to provide users with a miniature computer in their pockets. The Samsung Infuse’s processor is fully developed and can provide you with just as much gaming entertainment as anything else.

Devices such as the Nintendo 3DS do offer some specialized features; the most obvious difference would be that Smart Phones do not possess the 3D technology that these new gadgets have. However, the importance of features such as this is relatively minor in terms of the entertainment experience as a whole. Most users will be perfectly content with the range of gaming features offered to them by Smart Phones like the Samsung Infuse; furthermore, cell phone owners can save several hundred dollars that they would have spent on gaming consoles by simply downloading games onto their phone.

Most Smart Phones are able to handle a full range of music playing capabilities as well. It is true that an iPod does have several distinct advantages over Smart Phones in terms of listening convenience; for instance, it is typically much easier to organize and manage your music library on an iPod than on the Samsung Infuse. However, if you are just looking for a casual music listening method then a smart phone is more than good enough.

So long as you protect your phone with Samsung Infuse accessories such as a Samsung Infuse screen protector and a Samsung Infuse case, you should be able to take this device on the go for all of the entertainment capabilities that you normally would have relegated to an MP3 player or gaming console. The bottom line is that you can save a lot of money by simply taking advantage from everything that a smart phone has to offer.

LG has definitely stated in a wave in the Android Smartphone segment by launching its Optimus collection of Android phones which come at a reasonable cost albeit with all the current attractive features that users seek while deciding on a phone. For users who will be moving to Android the very first time, the Optimus series is an ideal commence to your Android journey. The LG Optimus M would be the original Android phone provided by MetroPCS and comes at a reasonable rate to get a substantial chunk of Android fans.

Design and Display
While the Optimus T, Optimus S, and Vortex look nearly the same as one another, the Optimus M is slightly different. At 4.57 inches long by 2.22 inches wide by 0.63 inch thick, the Optimus M doesn’t quite hold the curves and contours of the cousins, and has now a boxier silhouette. It’s even slightly heavier at 5.39 ounces in comparison to the Optimus S’s 4.6 ounces. Despite how light it is, the Optimus M feels slightly cheaper automobile plastic casing–the other phones possess a soft touch surface for a better luxurious feel. On the front of the Optimus M is often a nice 3.2-inch LCD having a 320×480-pixel resolution that looks just like other Optimus phones community . only sports 65,000 colors. It’s still sharp, colorful, and also the smooth capacitive screen managed to make it very easy to tap and swipe around.

Camera
The Optimus M features a simple 3.2-megapixel camera, including the ones on the other instrument Optimus phones. It’s a good amount of settings, like adjustable ISO, white balance, color effects, focus modes, and even more. There we were impressed using the picture quality. Without practically higher-end camera phones, pictures still looked sharp and colorful. The shades did seem somewhat dim, and also the low-light shots just weren’t nearly as good, even so the images still looked quite great for a 3.2-megapixel lens. The unit has a movie recorder which will record VGA, QVGA, and QCIF clips.

User Interface
Such as interface within the LG Vortex, there are shortcuts to your phone dialer, the contacts list, the principle menu, sending text messages, and also the browser along the bottom row on the town screen. The unit dialer app is fairly straightforward, as they are the messaging interface. We’re happy the Optimus M comes with the Swype keyboard built-in, as an alternative to the common Android touch keyboard.Beneath the display include the usual Android hot keys back to back. The Menu key is within the far left, the property and Back keys share 1 panel through an indent didn’t remember the words, and also the Search key is within the far right. In the bottom of the phone would be the Micro-USB charging jack, while the 3.5mm headset jack and screen lock/power key take top. The amount rocker and camera key take the correct spine. On the back of the phone would be the camera lens. You will need to take away the battery cover to reach the micro sd card slot.

Features
Surprisingly, the 600 MHz processor appears to be doing its job well. Honestly, I’m planning on be slow and laggy, but I haven’t really experienced that in any way. Granted, I’ve only been there for a limited time thus i haven’t put it through its paces, however with the few tasks i always have run on it, speeds look like very good. Thus far, it’s much better than my exposure to the Samsung Transform and its 800 MHz processor.

Call Quality and Life of the battery
Call quality was good generally speaking. We heard our callers clearly with plenty of volume. We did hear the sporadic static blip, but it was very minor. Their voice sounded being a solid landline-quality call.On their end, callers reported good call quality at the same time. They did say our voice sounded somewhat processed, plus they could definitely tell i was for a cellphone. Otherwise, they heard no distortion or buzzing, even if within the speakerphone. There was more echo effects if your speakerphone was on, but that’s to get expected.Other LG phone review, LG Phoenix.
