What are the most comfortable travel shoes?
Posted: December 14th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Tux & Gown & Jeans | Tags: comfortable, most, shoes, travel | 4 Comments »I am going to Europe on a 2½ week tour through London, Amsterdam, Rome, Paris, etc…and I was hoping to get tips on the absolute most comfy yet stylish shoes for women. I will be on a bus sometimes, but walking a lot. I am going this May, so not really sure what the weather will be like.
I am 30, from California, and I don’t want to look too touristy. ![]()
Thanks!
YOu can use either Addidas/ Nike running shoes preferebly Black or plain white so that you will have both comfirt and also decent does match for all purposes.*
why not try Adidas, I’ve been using this shoes for the past 25 years.
Expect rain, sun, dust and cobbled streets.
Most comfy will be either mountain boots or walking sandals that fit perfectly, but neither are considered stylish (unless you are in a rare group for fashion.)
So take whatever shoes are comfy for you, and forget style. Or take stylish shoes and have sore feet more often than not.
Most tourist will look touristy, whatever they do.
If you buy new shoes in the first town you visit (London?) you will look like a tourist that has bought English shoes rather than just like a tourist.
Wear a pair of shoes that is comfy, on which you can walk all day in the rain if needed, and put a pair of light sandals or slippers in your case for the evening and maybe bathroom use.
Bring more than one pair of shoes. Someone told me that years ago before my first trip to Europe and i didn’t listen to them and got blisters my second day of walking the streets of Paris. Shopping for a second pair with sore feet in a foreign country wasn’t much fun. Get a pair for comfort and dry days and another for rainy days.
I just came from a Clarks store and saw lots of cute comfortable stylish shoes.
