Why do women like shoes?

I like a comfortable pair of shoe’s. But women, they think it’s cooler to look good, even if it hurts like hell. Help me understand.

Probably cuz for the most part you can lose or gain weight, and shoes will always fit you. I like shoes enough, but no way do I wear any that aren’t comfy.
I don’t know. My friend and I were discussing it the other day, we don’t get it either and we ARE women. Personally I have about 4 pairs of shoes, I have trouble finding any that I like so I don’t get how some women have hundreds of pairs. That would be impossible for me! Every time I need a new pair I trawl through about a dozen shoe stores before I find a pair that I’d even consider. It’s such a hassle, don’t know how people could call shoe shopping fun!

I have always wondered about that myself. My conclusion is that they believe in this “completeness” for everything. This is not only with shoes but if you notice..curtains, sheets, towels etc…. This means that everything has its place and occasion. Have you ever been in woman’s closet? She could have fifty so called “different” evening dresses but they are all black and look identical ( at least to any sane person). Not to generalize but they are sort of perfectionists ( or should i say impressionists) that way. As far as pain goes…well they believe a little discomfort is worth it, just ask any women who waxes she will tell you : )
Yet men are supposed to be visually stimulated and logical thinkers but I could care less if the bedspread and topsheet match let alone me wearing socks that are from the same pair….GO FIGURE

I have 20 pairs but i love each one of them, cuz they match with wat i want to wear…..it all depends on the occasion, so yeah.
call it vanity but we women love to look good.. shoes is one of our statements.. we like to match it with our bags/ clothes or sometimes our mood.. it gives us self confidence and most of the times buying a new pair lifts our spirit during times we feel lonely..
I dont wear nothing that is going to make my feet hurt !!!!! No Matter how cute the shoe is!
