why do women value shoes so much?

I guess because its a part of fashion. Not all women are this way. Me, for example, Im not as materialistic as many women are….
because shoes are GORGEOUS!!
but i definitely don’t expect you to have the same attitude towards them. just as i would never understand why men love beer… but who cares? that’s why we’re women and you’re men. we have differences that we might never understand…
but honestly, i don’t care what kind of shoes guys wear.. i only care what kind of shoes I wear! not all women are like that. women who scold you for your shoes are just shallow women who are materialistic, it has absolutely *nothing* to do with the love *some* (not all) women have for shoes.

We value shoes because just like everything else we own we are proud of them, we would like you to have the same additude because we feel that if i guy shows up on a date in nice shoes that he is polished and a good guy, after awhile the girl might not care what you wear on a date, it just depends on how high-matinance the girl really is.

I HATE shoes. I prefer the comfortable, two-year-old sneakers to those horrible, ugly heels or flats. I’m a total tomboy & could care less what type of shoes a guys wears.

We don’t all obsess over shoes. The problem is that most men want comfort out of shoes, whereas most women want style AND comfort. (I’m not even going to address the women who don’t care about comfort, they freak me out). In any event, the key is to wear shoes that look nice, and fit comfortably.
Not All Girls LOVE shoes its jus because you have advertisments and all , its the same between men and footie they go wild for sweaty men in shorts

Personally I like shoes a lot because they either make or break your outfit. They are the icing on the cake. Heels are fabulous. By no means do I expect my boyfriend to share a love of shoes. (He only has 2 pairs). Also ignore the comments from the rude, sexist individuals claiming women are stupid and don’t get out of the kitchen enough. Time to grow up.
