not to be rude or anything but isnt it better to stir with a wooden spoon since a whisk can cause discolouration? Just asking, dont hate

Expertvillage why can you guys not number the sequence of these videos. They’re well done and informative but there are multiple parts and I don’t know where to start or go from one video to another !

Geez, it was bad enough with pop-up ads in the video,
Now we have to watch another add before we can watch!
    How annoying…

Hi Chef Blondie, Thank you for uploading your video. My neighbor and I were going round and round about making a roux for macaroni and cheese (as see on Rachel Ray’s show). I hear the word roux and I instantly think of New Orleans.
I appreciate your recipe and technique, but at 2:15 you said we have created a Bechamel sauce.
Bechamel describes a ‘white’ sauce, I thought.
    Please enlighten me?
    A PM is fine.
    Many thanks.

I love her enthusiasm. I followed the recipe, and it was literally better than mother’s! But uh… don’t tell her if you see her (:

Good job sweetie. I apologize for the lack of class and stupidity of some of these guys that were never taught respect from Dad and his BELT right across the mouth !!!! Good recipe, and a classic stove. I love old stoves. I like the one that Rachel Ray has in her kitchen too. Have you seen it ?

@.@ You people commenting on this video are scary. Well, most of you. I mean geez whats wrong with you? At any rate at least I found this video helpful.. although I’ll make a few alterations since I’m happy with a plain one cheese + the sauce part.

What is the difference between a meal, and a gourmet meal?

If the difference is the preparation of the meal, then why can you prepare a good serving of mac?

mac and cheese must be the dullest food ever prepared. How on earth can you make it a gourmet dish?
