I sent this gift to my Aunt for Easter.. I regret this transaction big time!!
She sent me this email regarding the gift.. (How Embarrassing!!):o(
It was the MOST PATHETIC gift basket that I have ever received>
You should write to them and complain or write a review stating
that it was PATHETIC.
The label states “3-Pound Gift Box” – What an absolute joke!!!
There was one cardboard box enclosed in another cardboard box
enclosed in a heart-covered cardboard box, then a cardboard tray
with shredded green paper and 1.5 lb of “goodies”, not 3 lb. as
described on the label. The Amazon website showed a basket, but
there was a disclaimer that the provider had the right to change the
packaging (no basket) and to change the contents as well (9 of the
10 items described as being in the so-called basket had been substi-
tuted. NO MUSTARD, NO CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES, NO CASHEW
ROCA, NO SONOMA CHEESE STRAWS, NO CHEESE KNIFE, NO GHIRA-
DELLI HOT COCOA MIX, NO THREE PEPPER CRACKERS – instead there
were 2 oz. of Toasted Sesame Crackers, 8 oz. of X Fancy Mixed Fruit,
2 oz. of Wafer Cookies, 3.75 oz. Camembert Flavored Cheese Spread,
5 oz. Garlic Beef Summer Sausage, 2 oz. Smoked Almonds, .9 oz (!)
Chocolate Milano Biscotti and 2 Ghiradelli chocolate wafers at .53 oz.
each. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC – I probably could have gotten all of
these items at Cost Plus World Market in their sampler section for well
under $10.00………
You were truly ripped off by this company and I hope that you demand
a refund from them.
