Bed Pillows

I’m really pleased that you are on my website.  I didn’t know the name of the pillow I was looking for when I first started doing research.  All I knew was that I wanted to sit up in bed, read, and watch TV and just to be comfortable while I was in bed, not sleeping.Ok, every article you read says that you there are only a couple of things to do while in bed, one of them is to go to sleep.The others will be left alone at this time.Because I don’t need the 2nd option, I use it for reading and watching TV while being in bed and like it.  So I wanted a big, comfy, soft, back rest pillow that wasn’t beyond my means, but was just a great sturdy pillow with arm rests for my lazing in bed on Sunday mornings reading or watching the boob tube at night.

So there are many various cushions that met what I wanted.  One was called a pillow wedge.  This is a piece of foam that is in the shape of a wedge and sits behind you.  They come in 6 bed wedge and 8 wedge pillow sizes.During your rest in bed, you can absolutely use this pillow.  What most people get this type of pillow for is if you have acid reflux or GERD.  This pillow is called a bed wedge reflux and is great for helping with your acid reflux and can be prescribed by your doctor if needed.  But it doesn’t have any armrests or a place to hold a magazine.  It’s just a big piece of memory foam large bed wedge shaped like a triangle.

The following pillow I came across is called the boomerang pillow.  It looks just like a boomerang and you can hug the pillow for comfort, rest on the pillow for back support or cradle the pillow for neck support.   This sounded great, but it still wasn’t exactly what I wanted.  So I still kept on researching.

The second to last pillow I looked at was a reading pillow for bed.The back didn’t have good supports, it was cheaply made, and it wouldn’t endure as long.And just to tell you, it was somewhat costly!  I passed on that one pretty quickly.Also, before I forget, it says to clean it carefully.So that was not to be washed!

The fourth pillow that I finally found was the perfect pillow you can use to sit up in bed.  Well, actually it’s not really JUST a pillow.The arms can be moved, a compartment for things, but best of all it has a cover to remove when washing is needed.  It comes in four different colors, but I got the cream cover.  I also ordered an additional cover but haven’t used it yet.  It was exactly what I was looking for and then some.The head rest can be moved in either direction and you can adjust it.  The Bed Lounge, that’s the name of it, is portable and foldable.You’ll be able to recline since it does that, too!What is not to love about this, I really cannot remember a time not using it.  And, it was for a little less than the above pillow I mentioned that was more expensive and not even half as nice.Needless to say, you’ll probably tell me that I am spot on as this being the best pillow you have ever purchased.Make sure that you peruse the rest of the pillow information on the website.I really believe you will like all that is available.So to close, I am so glad that you visited this site, I really think it might help you decide in your choice of what “sit up in bed pillow” you might choose!
