I Just Want You to Know by Kate Gosselin is relatable to all mothers. It is book that really expresses her love for her children.

Although Kate has been slammed in the media, this book shows that everything you read in the tabloids is not always true.. Despite its popularity, I never really got hooked on John and Kate Plus 8, but did watch from time to time.. As with any public figure, the media made a habit of commenting on Kate whenever the opportunity arose, especially during her marriage troubles.. All of the drama aside I liked her book.

Despite her public image, I found Kate’s story to be entertaining, touching, and thought-provoking.. Although their divorce has been made public, Kate never takes a shot at John and remains respectful throughout the book..  I think it is great that she wrote an individual letter to each of her children. Before I read this book, I figured Kate would refer to her children as a group.. Unlike the public, it made me realize that she knew each of her children. Unlike the media, Kate stresses that each of her children have their own unique personalities.. With six children who look alot alike, it is no surprise that just remembering who is who comes as a daunting task.. Despite the occasional negative headlines, I learned that Kate is actually a very good mother who cares deeply for her children.. No matter what, that is a good life lesson!

By reading the book, you will definitely learn a lot more about the Gosselin family. There are pictures and even recipe favorites.

Despite the public image of her being an attention seeker, Kate uses this book to share her life story for those who want to know the truth to her life.. She just wants to tell the struggles of having so many children, but the love that she has for her children surpasses it all.

Kate’s story is truly inspiring and is a must read for everyone.. I think if you set aside all the things you have heard you will enjoy I Just Want You To Know By Kate Gosselin.
