Where can a woman with size 12 WIDE feet find a variety of quality, trendy, comfortable selection of shoes??

I’ve got big feet… I hate “Coward” and catalogs like it that have a large variety of what I term “old lady shoes”. I wear a size 12 wide. Just to give you an idea of what I like – I love my dansko clogs (mens) and birkenstock sandals, but I want something more slighty feminine. I wish I could wear Sketchers…but they’re too small.

Any ideas?

My little cousin and her church are going on this hiking trip to the falls. It’s not really “hiking”, but walking through the woods (and other stuff…it’s not just a walk either) and over rocks. The church is a pentacostal church and the majority of the women wear skirts all the time. My little cousin wants me to go with her and I told her I would, and my grandmother thought that it would be appropriate for me to wear a skirt as well :-/ A skirt while out in the woods? eek

I guess you didn’t need all that info, but I thought I would give it anyway. Why are women clothes so comfortable?

I am a guy and one time a lost a bet and i had to dress up like a girl. Since then i have been addicted to wearing womens clothes. When no one is home, i wear my sisters clothes like her bras, underwear,pantyhose,dresses,t-shirts,leggings, and jeans. I even wear high heels shoes. Now i am just wondering why they are so comfortable,

I’m big on comfort when it comes to my shoes. That’s why I have worn mostly only sneakers/tennis shoes up till now. However, I’m thinking of buying a pair of canvas shoes ( reference, look at picture attached). Would they be comfortable? FYI: I have small feet (women size 4.5-5) and my feet is neither flat nor greatly arched.

I am looking for nice, comfortable shoes for a upcoming trip to paris. I have tried so many different shoes but I keep sending them back. I am looking for something other than tennis shoes. I would like more along the line of ballet flats. I have tried the puma ballet flats (http://www.shop.puma.com/Women/Footwear/Ballerinas/Espera-II-Ballerina-Flats/pna884629144464,en_US,pd.html?cgid=13120) these are the ones that i tried. I had to send them back because they were so uncomfortable! I have all these nice dresses that i bought and i would prefer to not have to wear sneakers with them. ha-ha. A problem im having is I wear a size 5.5. I can fit into a 6. but its kind of big. I would like the price to stay under 150. Thanks for the help.

I am on the hunt for low heel booties for women. I am 21 years old, so no granny shoes. I have searched and searched and can’t find anything that is around 2″ high, and less than $50. Has ANYONE seen anything or have any ideas to look? I’ve tried shoedazzle, zappos, modcloth, jc penney, urban outfitters, forever 21, and no luck yet.

Hi there – I am a size 8.5 EE and I have a very large bunion on my right foot (on the side of my big toe). I actually need orthotics. I have tried on Ecco shoes (No good for me), Aravon (also no good), Birkenstocks (the Braga came the closest in a size 40), as well as a bunch of other brands.

I am wondering if anyone knows of a brand of shoe that is good for really wide feet. I need them for work – I work in retail in a Jewelry store and dress code is formal attire (suit and such).

I am looking for a shoe that is closed on the toe (I will settle for a lace up if I absolutely must), is leather and prefer no heals (but dont mind a 2-3″ heal as long as it is a thick heel that is as wide as the shoe – no narrow ones).

Can the ladies out there (even if you are not a size 8.5) recommend a good quality COMFORTABLE shoe??? Thanks.

I need teaching shoes. I can’t find my old ones. I live in Los Angeles and get around by bus because I cannot afford a car or insurance. I only work part time as a substitute teacher right now, but hopefully will get a full time position soon. I need teaching shoes. When it comes to comfort and safety for my feet, I’m willing to cough up up to $50 for shoes.

My old pair were black, leather SAS walking shoes. My boyfriend hates them because they look like granny mushroom shoes, and he wants me to get something hipper, more youthful, and prettier. He even suggested fashionable lady shoes with 2-3 inch heels, like that would ever happen. I’m not out to make him happy, I need comfortable professional teaching shoes to make my feet happy, and to make me happy. After all, he doesn’t see me when I teach, and if we go out, I’ll buy another pair of fancy lady heels.

Question: Where in Los Angeles, CA can a professional working woman on a budget find a comfortable pair of sensible teaching shoes? How much does it cost?
