Tolerating pain in the name of fashion. Why do women wear shoes that hurt, instead of ones that don’t?

I seem them after the club, walking BAREFOOT with their shoes in the hands because they hurt so bad.

I have yet to see a guy walking barefoot after the club on the dirty ground where people spit, pee, puke, etc… because his SHOES hurt! (and if anyone has seen this, i don’t wanna hear it, its one in a billion)

Why do expensive painful shoes make women happier than wearing comfortable ones?
Diab: Women justify the pain because of the look? Comfortable shoes are ugly?
Adam’s wife: That is not the only answer. Comfy shoes look good too. Discomfort comes at the cost of trying to fit yourself into something that is foreign to your body… trying to portray an image that you are not.
Spanx: You are irritating. If you want to argue my point go for it, if you want to spew random crap that isn’t even on topic than go post somewhere else.

How come men say women don’t cook?

Posted: October 9th, 2011 | Author: admin | Filed under: Around the Castle | Tags: , , , | 11 Comments »

And how come there is a stereotype only men get to marry chefs?

“My husband is the best cook! He’s a pastry chef with over 15 years experience, and he’s worked as a sous chef before as well. All in all, I am guaranteed fabulous food all the time! As for me, I don’t even know how to cook.”

“”im married to a chef and youre right. it is usually women who find these type of men.”

“My brother is an amateur gourmet cook who married a woman who burns toast and a girlfriend of mine lived exclusively on tomato and mayonnaise sandwiches before I moved in. Anecdotal evidence suggests that your observation is correct.”

“My husband is a pastry chef, he’s been trained in all aspects of the kitchen and he is awesome. I make toast and cereal, that’s about it. I think men are definitely cooking more today and what’s nice is, most of them are actually quite good at it!”

“American women will marry metrosexual men who cook everything and defer to her. This is good news for the gay community as more of their children will probably be open to homosexuality.”

We hear comments like that all the time.

Do men ever get to marry women who are amazing at cooking. Those who can make BBQ brisket, cocktail, any type of meat, sandwiches/paninis, steaks, fish/chicken dishes and desserts such as creme brulee/tiramisu/cheesecake/chocolate mousse. The type of person who makes fresh jams, cream cheeses and breads.

BUT if you look at food blogs about 90% of the posters and responders on food blogs they are women. About 90% of the homecooked meals on photo websites such as flickr are women.
And women have always dominated the pastry chef industry and are making gains in the regular cooking industry and some of the best BBQ ers on food network are women. MOST of the recipes posted on here are posted by women.

Here is an example of some beautiful food women have cooked
